Aiméa — Returns, Exchanges & Refund Policy

Aiméa is a company registered in Hong Kong. This policy is governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and constitutes the full terms of our return, exchange, and refund process.

If you are ordering from the European Economic Area (EEA), additional statutory consumer rights may apply to your purchase. These are outlined in a separate section at the end of this policy under "Additional Rights for EEA Customers."


Return Period

We offer a 100-day return and exchange period from the date of delivery. This gives you time to decide whether an item is right for you. During this period, you may request a return, exchange, or refund in accordance with the conditions set out below.

This return period is offered voluntarily by Aiméa and may be modified or withdrawn at any time.


Eligibility Conditions

To be eligible for a return or exchange, all of the following conditions must be met:

  • Items must be unworn and unused beyond initial try-on or inspection
  • Items must be in their original, undamaged condition
  • All original packaging, tags, labels, and protective materials must be intact and included
  • Items must be free from odors, stains, pet hair, makeup, deodorant marks, or any other signs of personal use
  • Items must be returned in a resalable condition as determined by our returns team

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that all conditions are met before shipping a return. We recommend keeping all packaging materials until you are certain you wish to keep your item.

You have the right to examine the product in the same way you would in a store — for example, trying on a garment to check the fit. However, items that show any evidence of being worn outside a fitting context, washed, ironed, or altered in any way are not eligible for return.

Aiméa reserves the sole right to determine whether a returned item meets the above conditions. Our assessment is final and binding.


How to Initiate a Return

Step 1 — Contact us Email our support team at support@aimea.eu to let us know you would like to return or exchange an item. Please include your order number and a brief description of the reason.

Step 2 — Receive your return instructions Our team will respond within 2 business days with a Return Authorisation Number (RAN) and the return address. Please do not ship any items before receiving your RAN.

Step 3 — Pack and ship Pack your item securely, ideally in its original packaging. Include a note with your order number and RAN inside the package, and write the RAN clearly on the outside of the parcel. Ship using a carrier that provides a tracking number — we are unable to process returns without proof of shipment.

Step 4 — Send us your tracking number Once shipped, reply to our email with your tracking number so we can monitor your return.

Your return must be shipped within 14 days of receiving your RAN. After this period, the authorisation expires and a new request must be submitted.


Return Address

Your return address depends on your location and will be confirmed by our support team when your return is approved.

  • European orders are returned to our warehouse in Germany.
  • All other regions are returned to our warehouse in China.

The exact return address and any specific shipping instructions will be provided together with your Return Authorisation Number (RAN).


Return Shipping Costs

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is faulty or incorrect (see "Faulty or Incorrect Items" below).

Estimated return shipping costs for your reference:

  • Europe / EMEA: approximately €25 – €65
  • Other regions: approximately $35 – $120

Actual costs depend on your carrier, location, and package weight. These are estimates only. You are responsible for ensuring that returned items are shipped securely and comply with any applicable customs or shipping regulations.


Refunds

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome. Aiméa reserves the right to inspect all returned items before issuing any refund.

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method used at checkout. Refunds cannot be issued to a different payment method, bank account, or as store credit unless explicitly offered by Aiméa.

Processing time: Refunds are processed within 14 business days of receipt and successful inspection of the returned item.

Aiméa reserves the right to withhold or reduce a refund if inspection reveals that the item has been used, damaged, or returned in a condition that diminishes its value.

Please note that it may take an additional 5–10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider. Aiméa is not responsible for delays caused by your payment provider.

If you paid using Klarna, the refund will be processed through Klarna and your Klarna balance or invoice will be adjusted accordingly.


Exchanges

If you would like to exchange an item for a different size, please contact our support team at support@aimea.eu. Exchanges are subject to product availability and must meet the same eligibility conditions as returns. Aiméa does not guarantee the availability of a replacement item at the time of the exchange request.

We will do our best to find the right fit for you. In some cases, we may be able to offer a replacement in the correct size without the need for a full return. Any such arrangement is offered at Aiméa's discretion and does not create any obligation beyond the specific exchange offered.


Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is defective, damaged, or significantly different from what was described or ordered, please contact us as soon as possible at support@aimea.eu. Include your order number and photographs showing the issue.

For confirmed faulty or incorrect items:

  • We will cover reasonable return shipping costs
  • We will offer a replacement or full refund depending on the nature of the issue and product availability
  • Aiméa reserves the right to verify any claim before approving a return for faulty or incorrect items

Items Not Eligible for Return

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Items showing any signs of wear, use beyond initial try-on, washing, damage, or alteration
  • Items returned without original packaging, tags, or protective materials
  • Items returned after the 100-day return period
  • Items that fail our returns inspection
  • Hygiene-sensitive items that have been opened or unsealed where indicated

Aiméa reserves the right to apply a restocking fee of up to 30% of the item value for items that are returned in a condition that reduces their resale value. Alternatively, Aiméa may return such items to the customer at the customer's expense.


Photographic Evidence

For claims related to damaged, defective, or incorrect items, Aiméa may require photographic evidence before approving a return. This may include photos of the item, the defect, the packaging, and the shipping label. Failure to provide requested evidence may delay or prevent the processing of your return.


Important Information

  • The 100-day return period begins from the date of delivery as indicated by the carrier's tracking information
  • All returns must be requested within the return period — late requests will not be accepted
  • Returns and exchanges are subject to inspection and approval at Aiméa's sole discretion
  • Items must be shipped with tracking — untracked returns cannot be processed and Aiméa accepts no responsibility for untracked shipments
  • Do not ship items without first receiving a Return Authorisation Number (RAN) — unauthorised returns may be refused or discarded without liability to Aiméa
  • Aiméa is not responsible for return shipments delayed, lost, or damaged by the carrier
  • Aiméa reserves the right to modify this policy at any time without prior notice; the policy in effect at the time of your purchase applies to your order
  • Aiméa reserves the right to refuse future returns or restrict account privileges if return behaviour indicates misuse, fraud, or abuse of the returns process

We reserve the right to decline any return that does not comply with the conditions outlined on this page.


Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This policy and any disputes arising from your purchase are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.


Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • Aiméa's total liability in connection with any return, refund, or exchange shall not exceed the purchase price of the item(s) in question.
  • Aiméa is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the return process, including but not limited to shipping delays, customs fees, or items lost or damaged in transit by your chosen carrier.
  • Aiméa is not responsible for return shipments that are lost, damaged, or delayed by the carrier. We strongly recommend purchasing shipping insurance for return shipments.
  • Once a return shipment has been handed to a carrier, the risk of loss or damage remains with the customer until the item is received and confirmed at our return facility.

Dispute Resolution

If you are not satisfied with our response to a return or refund request, please contact us again at support@aimea.eu so we can try to resolve the matter. We aim to respond to all inquiries within 2 business days.


Additional Rights for EEA Customers

If you are ordering from within the European Economic Area (EEA), the following additional rights apply to your purchase under mandatory EU consumer protection law. These rights apply in addition to this policy and cannot be excluded.

14-day right of withdrawal. You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without providing any reason. To exercise this right, contact us at support@aimea.eu with a clear statement of your decision to withdraw. The 14-day period begins from the date you physically receive the goods.

Refund timeline. For withdrawals under this statutory right, Aiméa will issue a refund within 14 days of receiving the returned item or receiving proof that the item has been sent back, whichever is earlier.

Discounted items. Your 14-day right of withdrawal applies to all purchases regardless of whether the item was purchased at full price or at a reduced price.

Diminished value. If the returned item shows a decrease in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to check the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods, Aiméa may reduce the refund amount accordingly.

Two-year legal guarantee. Under EU law, you are entitled to a minimum two-year legal guarantee. If a product turns out to be faulty or not as described within this period, you have the right to request a repair, replacement, price reduction, or full refund.

Faulty items. Return shipping costs for confirmed faulty or incorrect items are covered by Aiméa.

Dispute resolution. If we are unable to resolve a dispute, EEA customers may submit a complaint through the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform or contact the European Consumer Centre in their country for free assistance.
